About Joe Radford

As the new owner of OceanView Properties, I take pride in mentoring our agents and brokers by sharing my vision for making the real estate buying and selling process a memorable experience.

I am a hard working and successful real estate broker in southern coastal Maine, bringing 25 years of brokerage experience to my clients. I am honest, knowledgeable, resilient, competitive, and creative. I view every client as a lifelong partner, and as a result, much of my business comes from past clients and referrals.

Since 2004, new construction has been a niche market for me. I understand that navigating a new construction transaction can be a challenge, but I have guided my contractors and developers through the process, helping them streamline buyer selections, home designs, and strategic marketing plans. I have a keen eye for design and function, which I bring to every project. I love walking a parcel of land and letting it ‘talk to you’.  It is a process of working with the land rather than just picking out a home design on a website. There are many pieces of the puzzle that have to be considered, such as southern exposure, views, wetlands, setbacks, ledge, and topography. 

Beyond real estate, I am passionate about family and the Maine lifestyle.  I am a lifelong surfer, surfboard maker, hockey player, and hockey coach.  Boating around Cape Porpoise or hanging at a local beach, makes for a perfect ending to a summer day.  I live in Kennebunkport with my wife, Meredith, our two children, two chickens (Mango and Waffles), and a very happy rescue dog named Clyde.
