About Peter McPheeters

Peter McPheeters has been involved in the housing business since the early 1970’s, when he began working as a carpenter. As time went on, he founded a residential construction firm that eventually included a real estate component. In 1993, he sold McPheeters Construction to several of its employees, and went full time into the Real Estate industry, teaming up with and eventually owning OceanView Properties. Since that time, OceanView has consistantly been the top selling company in Biddeford, and among the top five in Northern York County. Peter has been married to Eve-Susan since 1980, and they have two grown children and two perfect grandchildren. Peter is currently on the board of the Union Church and the Biddeford Pool Community Center, where he is the immediate past president. He is also past president of the Board of Waynflete School in Portland (where he still serves as a Trustee Emeritus), past president of the Biddeford Pool Improvement Association, past Commodore of the Biddeford Pool Yacht Club, former Trusee of the Maine Historical Society, and past member of the Maine board of The Trust for Public Lands. An avid sailor, Peter has sailed transatlantic, as well as many passages to Nova Scotia, Bermuda, the Galapagos, around the Cape of Good Hope, etc. If he is not selling real estate, he can often be found sailing his F-31 trimaran somewhere on the coast of Maine.
